In a mixing tin add: 3⁄4 oz. fresh lemon juice, 3⁄4 oz. simple syrup, 1 1⁄2 oz. Traverse City North Coast Rye, 1 dash of angostura bitters. Add ice and shake until chilled and ingredients are mixed. Approximately 10 seconds. Using a hawthorne and fine mesh strainer, double strain cocktail into a collins glass over fresh ice. Top with 2 oz. ginger beer and garnish with a lemon peel.
